For the last three months Matt has been subbing for a sixth grade science and social studies teacher out on maternity leave. Friday was his last day and the kids all wrote him goodbye notes. The girl who wrote the last note started off as one of his toughest kids. As he was leaving she gave him a teddy bear of her own to give to Matteo and a stack of her own folders for Matt to use at this next job. Kids are so awesome.
