Matteo received the DVD The Red Balloon for Christmas from my brother, and he's already watched it at least 10 times. He also received a little tent from his grandparents, so one of his favorite things is to go in the tent and watch the movie on his portable DVD player.
We're not sure what it is about the film that he likes so much. Is it the music? The simple storyline? The independence of a boy not much older than he? Whatever the reason, he can watch it over and over and over. If you haven't seen this movie, it's really charming and definitely worth a watch.
