One of his assistant coaches brought his four-year-old son who spent a lot of time playing with Matteo. He was a super sweet kid and really good with Matteo, and it was fun to watch our little bug interact with him.
Now I want to point out a couple of things in these photos. First, in the second picture you can see Matteo's new playhouse has not been repainted yet. I haven't had any luck finding the right color plastic paint. This hopefully will be tackled this weekend.
Second, and most important, you may have noticed that our usually, very smartly dressed baby, looks like this guy:
Yes, Matteo is wearing a little white tank top undershirt. (I absolutely refuse to call them 'wife beaters'.) Doesn't he look kind of trashy? It also doesn't help that the smallest size they make is 2T/3T and it's totally hanging off him. Those shirts are meant to be worn either under your shirt, as the name implies, or by people like this:
They are not meant to be worn by little fair-skinned babies who like to get wet and eat dirt. This was a serious baby fashion tragedy on my part and won't happen again. I mean, look at his face in that last picture! He's no fool. He knows he's a contender for the toddler version of 'What Not to Wear' and is not feeling it one bit.
Omg you kill me. !!!
ReplyDeleteMatteo is precious even if he is wearing a wife beater...
