Hi there.

Yes, it's been awhile. Six weeks or so? There has been a lot going on these past couple of months and lots of balls to keep in the air and unfortunately, I just had to step away from this blog until I could get things under control again.

But I hope to be back in the swing of things soon. There is a lot to catch up on.

Until then, here are Matteo's 23 month photos. 23 months! Next month he'll be two! Doesn't he look so much more like a little boy than a baby?

Success at last! And yes, like the rest of the country, Matteo is suffering from Linsanity. He's also suffering from two-year molars and a bad cold, which is why half of his face is red.

Matteo turned 16 months old yesterday!

*technically 15 months and 12 days - vacation sort of threw us off track this month

Matteo turned 13 months old on Sunday. Boy these photos are becoming more challenging. This month he basically hopped down and was like, "Sorry Mom, I'm blowing this popsicle stand."

Matteo turned nine months old today.



And yes, right before this picture was taken he fell over and bumped his head on the baby gate. It draws your attention away from the black eye on the other side of his head from another tumble.

Matteo turned eight months old yesterday.



This was our most challenging photo shoot so far. He was crawling and rolling and turning in circles and I couldn't get him to hold still for anything. He's getting more teeth so his tongue is constantly out, probing around and feeling them in his mouth. You can finally see the top ones that have been coming in for the last month.
